Self branching, upright bush, flowers freely. Versatile, suiting smaller standards, patio containers, pots and bedding. Terrific colours stand out in any display.
Tube: Pale pink 62D, rose 68C stripe.
Sepals: Rose 68C above, dark rose 58C below, green recurved tip, 1/2 up.
Corolla: Dark red purple 61A, matures red purple 61B, 1/2 flared.
Parentage: Bobby Shaftoe x Eusebia.

Half flared round 25mm (1") long x 40mm (1 5/8") wide COROLLA opens dark reddish purple (61A) maturing to reddish purple (61B) with smooth petal edges.
Half up 37mm (1 1/2") long x 14mm (1/2") wide SEPALS are rose (68C) on the upper surface, dark rose (58C) on the lower surface with green recurved tips.
Proportionately medium 15mm (5/8") long x 7mm (1/4") wide TUBE is pale pink (62D) striped rose (68C).
STAMENS extend 12mm (1/2") beyond corolla with dark reddish purple (60C) filaments and dark reddish purple (61A) anthers.
PISTIL extends 27mm (1 1/16") beyond corolla with white (155D)/pale pink style and pale yellow (1D) stigma.
FOLIAGE is dark green (137A) on the upper surface, yellowish green (146B) on the lower surface with 57mm (2 1/4") long x 31mm (1 1/4") wide ovate shaped leaves, serrulate edges, acute tips and rounded bases.
Veins, stems and branches are greyish purple (183C).
PARENTAGE: 'Bobby Shaftoe' x 'Eusebia'.
Self branching medium upright or standard.
Prefers overhead filtered light with best bloom color in filtered light and is heat tolerant if shaded.
Tested 4 years in Sheffield, Yorks, England UK and introduced by Swanland Nursery.
Distinguised by: bloom shape and color, profuse blooms, compact growth.
