It’s easy to see why this delightful old lady has survived for so long, although not easy to find nowadays. Quite lovely flowers with relatively short pure white sepals which contrast well with both the darker tube and sepals.

Tube: Medium, slightly bulbous, dark pinkish coral, almost striped appearance.

Sepals: Short and relatively broad, held horizontally. Pure white, with slender greenish tips.

Corolla: Purple pink with a white flush from the top, 1/4 to 1/2 flared, smooth petal edges.

Foliage: Mid green.
