This amazingly pretty fuchsia carries its flowers in terminal clusters. It was named by its hybridiser, Tielko Koerts, in tribute to Ede Ulfert Staal who was a Dutch singer-songwriter from the Northern province of Groningen who sang mainly in the Gronings dialect.

Tube: Proportionately long, white sometimes with the merest hint of pink.

Sepals: Pale pink through bold bright pink to apple green tips, held ½ up and slightly reflexed.

Corolla: Baby rose pink with darker picotee edges, ½ flared.

Parentage: Gerharda's Panache x Lord Lonsdale.
