Horizontally held deep red SEPALS are 1.5mm (1/16) long x 2mm (3/32) wide, tips are recurved
Proportionately short thin 5mm (3/16) long x 2mm (1/l6) wide TUBE is deep red
STAMENS do not extend below corolla ; deep pink filaments and light pink anthers
PISTIL does not extend below corolla; deep pink style and stigma
Parallel sided BUD has a slight bulge at corolla then pointed
FOLIAGE is mid-green on the upper surface, slightly lighter on the lower surface with 17mm (11/16) long x 13mm (1/2) wide leaves, serrulate edges, acute tips and bases
Veins are same color as lower surface of leaf, stems are dark green and branches greenish brown
