Reckoned to be quite a rare species fuchsia. Has a rather wiry growth habit and may need some support. Uses other shrubs and climbers for support in the wild and can easily be trained into very tall shapes. Lovely long, arching stems with lots of elegant flowers. First found in Brazil.

Tube: Red.

Sepals: Red, fully down, graceful recurve.

Corolla: Violet, unflared.

Foliage: Mid green medium sized long leaves.

Section: Quelusia.
