A striking species hybrid, producing clusters of huge and dramatic, long, dark orange,tubular flowers on a self branching, semi trailing plant. Likes the sun and has good heat tolerance if roots are shaded.

Tube: Dark orange 41A, very long.

Sepals: Dark orange 40B, yellow green 144A tips, 1/2 down.

Corolla: Opens and matures orange 41B, 1/4 flared, spoon shaped petals.

Parentage: (Göttingen x unknown) x (tetraploid) F. fulgens.

STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; yellowish white (4D) filaments; orangy brown (163A) anthers

Leaves are 80mm (3 3/16”) long x 60mm (2 3/8”) wide, pubescent, ovate shaped, serrate edges, obtuse tips, rounded bases

Veins are light green, stems are bronze green, branches are grayish green

Petals: normally shaped crown, bottom view square, quarter outstanding, the petals are diamond shaped with a smooth edge, orange color whole 41B, 15x9mm.

Filament: cream, four long and four short stamens, 4-3mm.

Anther: orange.

Pollen: missing.

Style: orange, 75mm.

Stigma: white, lobed.

Flowering: rich bunch.

Flowering time: usual.

Leaf: egg shape, top blunt foot rounded edge slightly serrated, looks dull, flat and velvety, deeper veins, dark green color top, bottom and middle veins green, light green midrib, petiole green source.

Special features: Strong plant that requires little care but is very susceptible to diseases. The plant can tolerate higher temperatures, but may bother getting burnt leaves if the plant for a long time standing in the sun.
