Compact Hardy Pale Single Sun White

Small, self branching and naturally bushy, tested for five years in Apeldoorn and Velp (Holland), where it proved hardy to -15C. The profuse and elegant single flowers would be stunning even on a half-hardy. It prefers overhead filtered light to full sun in a cool climate. The best bloom colour is in good light, heat tolerant if shaded.

Tube: White (155D) with faint pink stripes.

Sepals: White (155D), dark rose (58C) at base with light apple green (145C) recurved tips. Long and narrow, 1/2 up.

Corolla: White (155D), dark rose (58C) at base and smooth petal edge, 1/4 flared.

Parentage: Ingram Maid x (Bicentennial x Alma Hulscher).

Proportionately medium 20mm (3/4") long x 10mm (3/8") wide TUBE is white (155D)/rose

STAMENS extend 8mm (1/4") beyond corolla with magenta (61C) filaments and anthers

PISTIL extends 30mm beyond corolla with pink (62C) style and light yellow (4B) stigma

Ovate pointed BUD

FOLIAGE is medium green (138B) on the upper surface, light green (138C) on the lower surface with 75mm (3") long x 40mm (1 5/8") wide lanceolate shaped leaves, serrate edges, acute tips and obtuse bases

Veins are green/red with red stems and green branches
