Doffie 
A very popular hardy, with striking flowers of white and bluish purple. The bright orange anthers are also attractive. Quite strong growing, benefits from some early pinching to improve the shape.
Tube: Medium length, creamy white with faint pink stripes, noticeable bulge at the ovary end.
Sepals: White, proportionately long, held 1/2 up with tips well recurved. Sepals often twist too.
Corolla: Opens a rich purple, but this quickly changes to a paler bluish shade as the flower matures, blending to pinkish white at the petal base. Smooth petal edges, petals may be smooth or slightly ruffled.

Petals: closed top, bottom view around, not outstanding, the petals are usually formed with a smooth edge, color purple base 75B, middle and outskirts 88D violet, violet stains, 27x25mm.
Filament: pink, variable length, 40-31mm.
Anther: pink.
Pollen: cream.
Style: white, 72mm.
Stigma: yellow, clavate.
Flowering: normal.
Flowering time: usual.
Bud: oblong, tip sideways, angular diameter, axillary one button per leaf axils, normally open top.
Berry: No data.
Leaf: egg shape, head and foot pointed, slightly serrated edge, matt appearance, smooth and flat, veins deepens, color top and veins medium green, light green underneath, reddish midrib and petiole.
Growth habit: upright.
Growing Method: hardy shrub for in full sun, best color in bright light.
Special features: Approved by the VKC on 15-09-2001. The company Easy Plant and Baldur Netherlands sell the plant under the erroneous name Blue Sarah.
