This charming little hardy fuchsia, (one of the well known “Seven Dwarves”), often grows wider than tall, though that's not a drawback. Free flowering, usually with two buds per axil, so in the right place it looks superb. Ideal for rockeries, small borders etc.

Always popular, and a true dwarf, with stiff, prostrate. self-branching growth.

Nick's a bit grumpy about his increasing width as well.

Tube: Deep pink, darker stripes, short, and decidedly barrel-shaped.

Sepals: Deep pink, tiny green tip, horizontal, slightly recurved.

Corolla: Aubergine blue maturing violet purple, 1/4 flared, long, smooth petals.
