Very short jointed grower, naturally produces a dense bush smothered in flower, really pretty. Very small leaves and small, outward facing flowers should make this a good bonsai subject, also ideal for small pot exhibition classes. Small potted plants will appreciate being watered sparingly and with care. A real charmer, we love it.
Tube: Bold rose pink, very short, bulbous.
Sepals: bold rose pink above, slightly paler below, broad but well proportioned, horizontal, tips slightly recurved.
Corolla: Very pale pinkish mauve, with only a trace of rose veining at petal base, 1/2 flared. Has an attractive bell shape and smooth petals. The stigma and immature stamens are also rich rose pink, toning beautifully with the tube and sepals, and adding to overall attractiveness of the flower.
Parentage: Margaret Lowis x Mr A Huggett.
