Aphaia 
Named after the iconic Dutch writer of children's books, poetry, musicals and more, this beautiful fuchsia of unusual colouring, and attractively shaped blooms, is easy to grow. Good for hanging baskets and containers. May survive a slight frost but not winter hardy.
Tube: Magenta, medium length and thickness.
Sepals: Same magenta as tube, held horizontally, tips recurved.
Corolla: Palest purple with distinct magenta veining at the base, 1/4flared with smooth, slightly turned under petals.
Parentage: Insa x unknown.

Leaf: elliptical shape, top striker foot rounded edge strongly serrated, matt look, and gad flat veins same color top and bottom medium green, midrib, veins and light green petiole.
