Could this be one of most beautiful fuchsias ever? Also easy to grow - providing you don't overwater it! Named after one of Mario's Irish Terriers. See picture on page 2 of the Dec 2014 issue of the Fuchsia Breeder's Initiative (see Links).
The earliest and latest flowers of the season will be pale or even greenish white (see photo of winter flower). The colours only develop at warmer temperatures.
Tube: White, quite long and slender.
Sepals: White above, but tipped dark rose 55A below. Quite broad, 1/2 down.
Corolla: Lilac 75A, the four outer petals are much longer and wider than the nine or so inner ones. All are slightly pleated and held tightly together, unflared. Stamens remain hidden inside the petals.

Petals: rosette-shaped top, bottom view around, not outstanding, the four main petals 11x12mm, and about 9 other petals 11x12-4x4mm his round with a smooth edge and are pleated, color base white, middle and outskirts lilac 75A.
Filament : red, 4 long and 4 short stamens, 12-10mm.
Anther: yellow.
Pollen: missing.
Style: white, 68mm.

Bud: oblong, point sideways, round cross section, one axillary bud per leaf axil, top opens like a lantern.

Leaf: elliptical shape, top striker foot rounded edge surface serrated, matt appearance, velvety and flat, similar veins, medium green color top, bottom, light green, midrib, veins and petiole red.
Growth habit: half pendant.
Cultivation Method: hanger for filtered light, best color in the penumbra.
Special features: Shapely plant with flowers that have a striking pink patch on the tips of the sepals. The plants do not like wet feet, therefore must be protected from too much rain. This is a cultivar nominated by the NKvF.
