Could this be one of most beautiful fuchsias ever? Also easy to grow - providing you don't overwater it! Named after one of Mario's Irish Terriers. See picture on page 2 of the Dec 2014 issue of the Fuchsia Breeder's Initiative (see Links).

The earliest and latest flowers of the season will be pale or even greenish white (see photo of winter flower). The colours only develop at warmer temperatures.

Tube: White, quite long and slender.

Sepals: White above, but tipped dark rose 55A below. Quite broad, 1/2 down.

Corolla: Lilac 75A, the four outer petals are much longer and wider than the nine or so inner ones. All are slightly pleated and held tightly together, unflared. Stamens remain hidden inside the petals.

Parentage: (Roger de Cooker x ((Checkerboard x Machu Picchu) x (Checkerboard x Machu Picchu))) x Blush of Dawn.
