Mario recommends not growing this self branching cultivar as a standard, and suggests best results are obtained from early cuttings. He advises five to ten cuttings per basket or container.

The fuchsia cultivar Awake Sweet Love is a seedling from the year 2003 originating from the fuchsia Roger de Cooker.

It is a semi-trailing variety and has a soft light pink, triphylla-shaped flower.

Best colour is obtained if grown in a light but shaded area.

If protected from direct sunlight the flowers become even nearly white.

Fuchsia Awake Sweet Love originates from Roger de Cooker, but it contains still less triphylla genes.

It has a very distinct triphylla type shape, but I would not classify it as a triphylla hybrid. Somewhere you have to stop. I would opt for "semi-trailing triphylla type fuchsia".
