Gorgeous, unusually coloured flowers appear later in the season than most. They look superb against the dark green foliage, and keep going for a long time. Makes a lovely pot or small container fuchsia.
Likes to spread by underground stolons. More of a herbaceous sub-shrub than a small woody shrub like most fuchsias and doesn't seem to form the typical woody framework. Therefore does better in a pot that is wider than it is deep.
Tube: Aubergine-violet, long and flaring downwards.
Sepals: Aubergine-violet, held 1/2 down and straight.
Corolla: Purple. The narrow, spoon shaped petals are slightly wavy.
Parentage: Thalia x F. juntasensis.
