Very attractive species hybrid, which would make a stunning standard. Needs bright light, but full sun will bleach leaves.

Tube: Rose 45D, long.

Sepals: Rose 47D above, light orange 41D below, pale green, recurved tip, horizontal.

Corolla: Dark orange 41A, matures red orange 41A, 1/4 flared, short, upturned petals.

Parentage: Hinnerike x Rubra Grandiflora.

Quarter flared 15mm (5/8") long x 15mm wide COROLLA opens dark orange (41A) maturing to red orange (41A) with turned up petal edges

Horizontally held 20mm (3/4") long x 9mm (3/8") wide SEPALS are rose (47D) on the upper surface, light orange (41D) on the lower surface with recurved tips

Proportionately long thick 30mm (1 1/8") long x 7mm (1/4") wide TUBE is rose (45D)

STAMENS extend 15mm (5/8") beyond corolla with dark rose (55A) filaments and orangy brown (172B) anthers

PISTIL extends 25mm (1") beyond corolla with dark rose (55A) style and red (53D) stigma

Long BUD

FOLIAGE is dark green (147A) on the upper surface, medium green (147B) on the lower surface with 60mm (2 3/8")long x 35mm (1 3/8") wide cordate shaped leaves, serrate edges, acute tips and obtuse bases

Veins are yellow green (146C) with yellow green (146D) stems and branches

Flower: Single, standing off to a solid neutral stem, orange / orange, 40mm.

Flower Tube: sleeve, angular diameter, orange 43A, 25x10mm.

Sepals: stand half down, four-sided symmetry, top up, cross-sectional plane, boss dimensions small and yellowish 145A, exterior color orange 43B, 41C inside orange, 20x9-23x8mm.

Petals: bell-shaped crown, bottom view around, outstanding quarter, the petals are usually formed with a smooth edge, orange color whole 33B, red veins, 16x19mm.

Filament: pink with yellow, equal in length, 15mm.

Anther: yellow.

Pollen: missing.

Style: pink, 54mm.

Stigma: pink, lobed.

Flowering: normal.

Flowering time: usual.

Bud: triphyllas shape, tip sideways, angular diameter, axillary one button per leaf axils, normally open top.

Berry: No data.

Leaf: elliptical shape, top striker foot rounded edge slightly serrated, matt appearance, smooth and flat, similar veins, color dark green upper side, lower side light green, midrib, veins and petiole yellowish green.

Growth habit: upright.

Growing Method: bush for filtered light, best color in filtered light.

Special features: in a sunny spot the plant gets light green leaves.
