This amazes us, if it wasn't so obsessed with chucking out great bunches of stunningly beautiful flowers, we think it would get to be really big.

Spectacular, initially has stiff, fast growth which can be brittle when young and snaps easily if you knock it.

If growing in a normal pot, (especially in peat based compost), protect from wind, as the big leaves act like sails, making the plant blow over. Perhaps best staked to be on the safe side.

Tube: Dark rose 55A, long and thin.

Sepals: Dark rose above, light orange 39C below, green recurved tip, 1/2 down. Quite long and narrow.

Corolla: Dark orange 33A) 3/4 flared. Small, separate, narrow and wavy petals.

Foliage: Huge dark green lanceolate leaves, lovely red veins and stems.

Parentage: (F. denticulata x F. decussata) x Rubra Grandiflora.
