Flower: single, hanging from a solid winding handle, L.paarsrood / D.roodpaars, 69mm.

Flower Tube: tubular shape, curved section around with some red stripes, bright red pair 68D, 43x5mm, the tube looks darker by the purple stripes 68A.

Sepals: state half down, four-sided symmetry, top up, cross-sectional plane, slightly twisted, boss dimensions small and groenigwit 154d, color exterior light pair red 68D, 68B inside light pair red, 30x9mm.

Petals: bell-shaped crown, bottom view oval, quarter outstanding, petals are normal shape with a serrated and corrugated edge and partially folded, color base and midfield dark red purple 61B, outskirts red purple 61A, cast dark red purple, 24x18mm.

Filaments: purple, 4 erected and 4 beaten back stamens 5-3mm, the base of the stamens form a sleeve.

Anther: yellow.

Pollen: yellow.

Style: purple, 80mm.

Cultivation Method: hanger for filtered light in a cool place, best color filtered light and in partial shade.

Special features: beautiful free flowering and velvety feeling plant 1 to 2 times to be pinched. The plant may only have a little bit of morning or evening sun, the rest is not tolerated. The plant has an unusual origin. This is a cultivar nominated by the NKvF.

"‘Remembering Claire has, amongst others, F,inflata, F.juntasensis and F.magdalenae in its parentage. It is a trailing fuchsia variety with long, single, deep purple flowers. Soon after its introduction in 2008, it has become very popular in The Netherlands. ‘Remembering Claire’ is named after a little pig that once was part of the family."
