A species hybrid with lots of cute little flowers from fat round buds. Berries are said to be among the best tasting of all fuchsias, although they don't seem exceptional to us. However, there are many forms of Globosa.

All fuchsia berries are edible, and most taste fine (a bit like Kiwi Fruit) providing they are properly ripe. F. boliviana berries are probably our favourite, but we haven't tasted them all yet...

Tube: Crimson, peg top.

Sepals: Crimson, broad, 1/2 down.

Corolla: Dark purple-violet, 1/2 flared.

Parentage: F. coccinea x F. microphylla.
