This hardy, semi trailing fuchsia is an excellent plant, as recognised by its RHS AGM. This is the original plant, which has produced several sports (including the well known 'Tom West'). Distinctive low, arching growth habit.
Tube: Slender, rich dark purple red.
Sepals: Rich dark purple red, fairly long and narrow, held half down.
Corolla: Violet purple, slightly flared.
Foliage: Handsome, dark leaves, with an overall purple bronze appearance.
Parentage: Exoniensis (F. splendens x Globosa) x F. montana.
